ACA Cyprus Data Protection Policy

The ACA Cyprus complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation effective from 25 May 2018.

The ACA maintains its membership information on a secure database held by the secretary.

On joining a member is asked to sign a detailed waiver permitting the ACA Cyprus to hold the member’s name, address, contact and other information electronically, solely for administrative purposes and to meet government regulations. With consent, limited contact information may be made available to ACA members via a password-protected area of the website.

The ACA Cyprus maintains this information in a secure manner, uses it only for ACA Cyprus purposes and will not disclose it to any other person or organisation except with the express permission of the member or by a court order.

The member may on request, to the Secretary, view, request alterations and updates to the entries, or the deletion of this data. Please note that if a waiver is not given then the member will not be able to receive any communication from ACA Cyprus.

On termination of membership the data is immediately deleted (not archived).
